The past month or so I’ve been taking a different approach to this blog trying to help as many investors with their bookkeeping as possible with these four specialized posts.
- Bookkeeping Strategies for REI – Pt 1
- Bookkeeping Strategies for REI – Pt 2
- Bookkeeping Strategies for REI – Pt 3
- Bookkeeping Strategies for REI – Pt 4
I can’t think of a better way to thank all of you than to offer a chance to save some money for reading me every week.

Because we are switching from Quicken to Quickbooks and we are looking for a template that will help the accounting side of our business. We are planning to do this switch in April. And I think that Joey and Donna are wonderful people.
With 3 different companies and two personal returns to complete – I need a standard practice that my entire team can use. That way, I get mirrored reports from each different company.
Hi Joey, I need to setup my bookkeeping system with all the initial entries after my first year of buying properties and want to make sure I have everything under full control so I can continue to buy more without fear of the paperwork monster. I think accountant in-a-box would help with this. Thanks for offering this draw!
Hi Andrew! That sounds fantastic – good to go…boy I’m glad I don’t have to pick the winner, so thankful the site randomizes 🙂 good luck!
This is definitely how you do it Brett! I wish you luck!
Ha haha, NOW I get the kissing butt comment from Twitter! Didn’t read this until now! You are the best man!
Thank you Joey for an excellent (and entertaining) series of articles. It was my pleasure to donate Accountant In-a-Box to top off the valuable real estate bookkeeping information you've been sharing.
Hey George, this was an easy set of articles to post thanks to your great manual writing. Not many professionals see the value in marketing their product like this and I'm glad you have…you are truly an example of 'giving back' and I'm sure all my readers truly appreciate this gesture!
I would love to have this product because as I am in my first year of business with The Like Button, I need some bookkeeping help!
Great! Good Luck Dani!
This is the year that I embark on my real estate investment journey. Might as well start out by being organized. I'm an Accountant, however, I'd rather delegate the work to the program and further my knowledge and skills as a real estate investor. Joey and George, THANK YOU!
Hi Joey,
Thanks for reviewing and posting this information about Accountant-in-a-box. It’s very timely for my situation. I like your comments about having an understanding of all aspects of your business so you can speak intelligently to others that you employ. I’m in the process of looking for a bookkeeper but now I’m thinking maybe I should just buy George’s software and do my own bookkeeping 🙂 Thanks!
Hi Joey,
The experience you shared with us in this series is very valuable especially for a newbie real estate investor like me 🙂 I have to say bookkeeping is my least favorite side of the business and I do need help in terms of getting everything organized! Thanks!
