“What you believe you will achieve”
This one quote has really come to surface for me in the past seven days joining many others on my office wall. I have a few ‘vision boards’ as some refer them such as my large Bristol board with pics, a few written vision statements but my most inspirational ‘board’ is my entire office which has random one liner quotes all over the walls. I see, read and subconsciously absorb these EVERY day.
I thought my wife would tell me it ruins the décor but she hasn’t, in fact she knows how this positive influence builds my character. The laws of attraction are naturally at work in my environment and even when I talk with someone I am ‘attracting’ what I believe.
In the past week alone I have proven not only to myself, but to those around me the power of this belief system. It is undeniable as I speak proudly about my desires so when it happens people cannot say otherwise. Is it luck or coincidence? It doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s the belief that counts to me.
so many WANT to believe…
…but the difference between the achievers and the dreamers are the steps in between. A belief is written in your psyche, it becomes a part of you & you go to sleep thinking of it and awake energized to fulfill it. When your belief is threatened, you never disbelieve, you answer “is it worth it?” with a profound “YES, because I KNOW it’s going to happen.” You will find yourself alone in your journey as others have given up long ago, on you and most importantly themselves.
YOU must have your vision in front of you at all times to ‘achieve what you believe’. You must truly understand the operative word is BELIEVE. You must have a deep core belief for it to become evident. You will soon again have more support in your belief as people, believe in YOU.
Determination, motivation and passion are fantastic supporters in your BELIEF upon which they may build.
Have faith
I’m not a mystic trying to convince you of some magical force able to manifest your new Ferrari because you BELIEVE you should be driving one – it doesn’t work that way. That’s why ‘the Secret’ was so popular when everyone thought they could poof a million dollars into their lives. When it didn’t happen, it became another ‘crock’ for most of them.
Believe in something so deep it becomes a part of who you are, not only will you give off ‘vibes’ to other people, but you will develop an inner strength to pull you through obstacles and find paths that lead towards your ‘wants’ and belief however subtle.
Let me draw from a short personal example how this belief system works in our household – this time it’s not related to real estate: my wife has a TRUE BELIEF in her ability to shape her body into something she WANTS. No matter how great she already looks and have surpassed the milestones she set, her BELIEF of being fit ‘in her mind’ is so strong no-one can tell her when it is over – including me. “You are great the way you are now” doesn’t cut it – she still has a belief of getting to another level.
Some may challenge this ‘belief theory’ as a ‘want’ in disguise. I disagree because although you may WANT something, you have to BELIEVE you are going to GET it…does that make sense?
